Miyajima, one of the leading tourist destinations in Hiroshima Prefecture, is scheduled to be visited by the leaders of various countries at the G19 Hiroshima Summit to be held from the 7th of this month. It is crowded with many tourists for 4 days to get a glimpse of Itsukushima Shrine, a World Heritage Site.
People who visited Miyajima have returned to pre-Corona levels since the start of this year, so expectations are high for inbound demand after the summit.
