technicians from Longling Xiaoheishan Reserve and Mucheng Rural Forestry Station in Longling County were pleasantly surprised to find precious images of the northern dolphin-tailed monkey when sorting out infrared camera data. In the video footage of more than 20 seconds, a group of northern Dolphin-tailed monkeys walk together from the dense forest on the hillside, or walk in the forest while foraging, or climb to the trees to observe the surrounding environment, or curiously probe the brain into the infrared camera lens.

This is the first time that the northern dolphins-tails monkey has been photographed with an infrared camera since the establishment of the reserve in 1995.
