The Kremlin is a fortified architectural edifice located in the center of the Russian capital, Moscow. It is the official residence of the country's president and the main symbol of theRussian Federation.

The history of the Kremlin dates back to 1156 when Prince Yuri Dolgoruky ordered the construction of a Moscow fortress. The existing walls and towers were built between 1485 and 1516. The Grand Kremlin Palace is part of the residence of Russia, and the halls of the state such as decorations, the handing over of credentials or the assumption of office.
