Kim Chapiron's "The Young Imam" is a round trip between France and Mali, between Evil and Good. The film is cleverly written and directed by Kim Chapiron and interpreted with sensitive sovereignty by Abdulah Sissoko.

At the heart of the story is the story of the young imam, without religion being in the spotlight. The title The Young Imam that immediately reminds us of Islam is important to Chapiron, she says. "I really like the sound of "imam". It's a word that sounds very good," she adds.
