The 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival will take place from May 16 to 27 on the Croisette. A total of 19 films were selected, which could be joined by a twentieth, Martin Scorsese's "Killers of the Flower Moon" The new films of Wim Wenders, Ken Loach, Wes Anderson, Catherine Breillat and Kore-Eda will be among the films in competition.
Of the 19 films in the running for the Palme d'Or, six are signed by female directors, including Italian Alice Rohrwacher and a newcomer, Ramata-Toulaye Sy.
