Kate Winslet was one of the winners of the Bafta Television Awards, yesterday Sunday night, in London. The Oscar-winning actress used her thank-you speech to criticize harmful social media content.
She was awarded for her portrayal of the mother of a teenager trapped by social media in I am Ruth, a miniseries she starred in alongside her real-life daughter, Mia Threapleton. "If I could split this award, I would give the other half to my daughter... We did this together, little girl," she said.
