In February, Masafumi Yamagishi (2), a resident of the city, was found bleeding and collapsed at a house in Ichinoe, Edogawa Ward. Kosuke Omoto (63), a junior high school teacher, was arrested on suspicion of murder and sent to the Public Prosecutor's Office on February 10.
Security camera footage revealed that the teacher appeared to have been wearing clothes of a different color before and after the incident. The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the suspicion that he changed clothes while fleeing the scene.
