[HIGHLIGHTS] Jiangxi "Yuzhang Academy Case" Retrial Pronounced Verdict Five defendants accepted their sentences without appeal

The much-watched "Yuzhang Academy Illegal Detention Case" in Jiangxi Province publicly pronounced its verdict at the first instance of the Anyuan District People's Court in Pingxiang City on the 28th. After the first-instance verdict was pronounced, the defendants Wu Junbao, Ren Weiqiang, Zhang Shun, Qu Wenkuan, and Chen Bin all expressed their acceptance of the verdict and not appeal.

The case was retried in a different place on March 12, 2021.
