A Ground Self-Defense Force helicopter with 10 members on board disappeared around Miyako Island in Okinawa Prefecture. Six members of the team have been confirmed dead in this accident, but the whereabouts of four people remain unknown and the search is continuing.
The recovered flight recorder had data left behind, and that some of it was extracted and analyzed. So far, no data loss has been confirmed, and we will conduct analysis to determine the cause of the accident, the head of the Ground Staff said at a press conference.
