[HIGHLIGHTS] JGSDF helicopter accident Search continues, helmet of passenger crew found at sea

A Ground Self-Defense Force helicopter disappeared around Miyako Island in Okinawa Prefecture on November 6. 8 people on board, including the commander of the 10th Division, are missing.

Four days later, a helmet belonging to a member of the crew was found off the coast of Sarahama Port. The Self- defense forces and the Japan Coast Guard have continued to search for the helicopter on the 4th and 5th of November. No strong clues leading to the discovery have been found.
