Jefferson Machado, 44, has been found dead in a cemented wooden chest in a backyard in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The family's lawyer confirmed the actor's death in a statement on Facebook.
Machado was last seen on January 27 and his relatives reported him missing at the beginning of February. The house, in the backyard of which Machado's body was found, was said to have been rented by a friend of the actor. This is currently being investigated. According to information from the Daily Mail, nine people were needed to pull the chest out of the ground.
