Tens of thousands of Israelis are expected in East Jerusalem on Thursday for a "march of flags" to celebrate the conquest of the eastern part of the city in 1967. The march, scheduled to begin at 16 p.m.

(13 GMT), is one of the demonstrations organized by Israel on the occasion of "Yom Yerushalaim" ("Jerusalem Day" in Hebrew) The UN does not recognize Israel's annexation of East Jerusalem, which it considers "illegal" under international law.
