Iraq on Saturday called on Turkey to apologize for what it considers to be the bombing of Sulaymaniyah airport in Iraqi Kurdistan. The Iraqi presidency wrote that Turkey has no legal justification to "continue its enterprise of intimidation of civilians on the pretext that forces hostile to it are present on Iraqi soil" On Friday, the security services of the airport had laconically reported an "explosion" near the perimeter wall that had caused no casualties.

Ankara's denial denies any involvement, saying that "the Turkish armed forces have not had such activity"
