A 55-year-old woman crashed during a parachute jump in Saarland. The woman from Bavaria had jumped at an airfield in a group with others.
Both her main parachute and a reserve parachute opened, but did not slow down the woman's jump as much as it should have been. Attempts to resuscitate the woman had failed, the woman died at the crash site. Investigations are ongoing, the cause of the crash is not yet known. The incident happened on Friday afternoon.
