The Mainland Study Group for New Hong Kong Teachers was launched in Guangzhou. Lee Mei Cheung, Permanent Secretary for Education of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, said: "I hope that you will always bear in mind the original intention of teaching and educating people" The training aims to facilitate the professional development of new teachers in Hong Kong, experience the latest achievements of national development, and promote the integrated development of basic education between Hong Kong and the Mainland.
The training course invited 30 new teachers from Guangzhou to participate in the exchange.
