The "Kanda Festival" is held once every two years by Kanda Myojin in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. Ototoshi was canceled, and this year will be the first time in four years.

People dressed in traditional costumes, centered on a large mikoshi called "Hōkoshi," departed from the shrine in a procession and paraded through the city. The Kanda Festival will be held until the 13th of this month, and is one of the three major festivals in Edo.
