Two people in Hanover were insulted and injured in a queer-hostile manner. A 17-year-old man was also beaten and his phone was stolen.

Police are investigating the incident and have launched a criminal investigation. The incident took place on Christopher Street Day (CSD) in the city. The day is a celebration of the rights of non-heterosexuals to live and work in the Netherlands. It is also a time of celebration for those who have chosen to live as transgendered people.
