Hamburg court finds two doctors guilty of causing the death of a nine-year-old boy. The boy died of postoperative bleeding after a routine operation in 2007.

Medical assistants in the practice had not received special training in the monitoring of patients after surgery. In addition, the infrastructure of the practice was inadequate. The two doctors do not have to pay the fines as they are considered to have already been executed due to the long duration of the proceedings. The father and mother of the child are no longer together, the father a broken man.
