Håkan Nesser's trial began on Tuesday in Stockholm. Nesser is accused of transferring millions of euros from Malta to Sweden.

His lawyer argued that the errors committed are due to his business advisers. The parties have settled amicably by the adviser paying SEK 4.2 million in damages via liability insurance. The author has been vague in connection with the trial, but has given a short statement: "We are innocent" and "mistakes are not criminalized and of course should not be"
