Pras Michél was charged with ten different crimes, including money laundering and illegal lobbying. The crimes were committed in association with a Malaysian businessman who is now on the run.
The artist is also charged with embezzling billions from the Malaysian state that allegedly ended up in Obama's re-election campaign in 2012 and in the movie "The Wolf of Wall Street" The punishment has not yet been determined, but the crimes committed by the artist are of such caliber that the rapper could face up to 20 years in prison.
