Yoshikazu Taniguchi (58), a former executive officer of the advertising company Daiko, is accused of bribery for giving a bribe of more than 79.650 million yen to Haruyuki Takahashi. At the first trial held at the Tokyo District Court on May 7, ex-executive officer pleaded not guilty to bribery.

Defense argued that the fee was paid according to the scheme decided by the former director and Dentsu, and the bribery charge does not hold.
