Even the constitutional complaint is inadmissible, says the Federal Constitutional Court. This makes it clear that the court will no longer annul the new election.
A good 40 plaintiffs had appealed against a ruling by the Berlin Constitutional Court in November. The complainants are of the opinion that the Berlin judges have thus arbitrarily disregarded the Karlsruhe principles of the scrutiny of elections, the court's reasoning says. The election of 26 September 2021 was declared invalid in view of the large number and severity of the electoral errors.
