This year's Eurovision song contest takes place in Liverpool on Tuesday. For the first time ever, viewers from non-participating countries will be able to vote.
Only TV viewers are allowed to vote in the two semi-finals. The national jury will thus first enter the picture in the final on 13 May. Then, as usual, their votes will be weighed together with the viewer votes to determine who will win the competition. The voting gates will not open until all entries have completed their numbers.
