The company PLD Space plans to carry out this Wednesday the first test flight of its Miura 1, the first rocket developed and manufactured entirely in Spain. The takeoff will take place at the Experimentation Center of El Arenosillo, in Huelva, and will be carried out in collaboration with the National Institute of Aerospace Technology.

If all goes according to plan, the rocket's ascent will last for about six minutes until it reaches a maximum altitude of between 50 and 80 kilometers. The rocket will lose speed thanks to the deployment of parachutes until it hits the ocean.
