Controversy over Monty Python: John Cleese wants to stage »The Life of Brian« in London. Ex-colleague Eric Idle emphasizes that he has nothing to do with it – and fears that his famous song could have been thrown out.

Idle, 80, wrote the song "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life," which is sung in the famous crucifixion scene in the 1979 film "The life of Brian" Cleese, 83, is working on a stage version that will premiere in London in the second half of 2024.
