This Wednesday, the UFC-Que Choisir published a study alerting on the presence of bisphenols in many baby products. Particularly dangerous for health, these endocrine disruptors can be found in products intended for oral consumption.
"It can promote miscarriages, low birth weight for children, and sexual and reproductive dysfunction. So it's really a very toxic substance," says the editor-in-chief of the consumer association. The consumer association is calling for a ban on all these types ofbisphenol, but this is not likely to happen immediately.
