The premiere of Svetlana Samoshina's first full-length film "The Edge of the Broken Moon" took place as part of the 45th Moscow International Film Festival. In the center of the plot is a family in which a single mother is trying to raise her youngest teenage daughter, almost losing contact with the eldest.
The drama brings to the fore the eternal question of the conflict of generations in the context of a single single-parent family, whose members not only do not hear, but also do not really want to listen to each other.
