There are two Ece Temelkuran. The first is a successful journalist in Turkey, both as a columnist and as a television presenter.
The second was born on the day when the anger of the government of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan caused her to be fired from the Habertürk channel. The journalist is isolated and no longer feels safe in her own country. She refuses to define herself as "exiled" and dedicates all her efforts to combat the authoritarian drift of her country.
