A lecture commemorating the 120th anniversary of the birth of Yasujiro Ozu was held in Yokohama. Professor Hideo Tsukiyama of Nagano Prefectural University revealed that new films of pre-war works had been discovered.
The films were re-edited to about 38 minutes for home use and released as a 20-minute short comedy film called "Shouki Komon" The complete version of the film has been lost, and the image quality is clearer than the shortened version.
