A conference on debate in Islamic heritage was held in Doha a few days ago. I found it an opportunity to discuss some ideas related to the debate, its place in the Islamic heritage, the classification of sciences, and the moral ills it entails.
This article explains that controversy and pilgrims are a general title under which arts of jurisprudential controversy enter. It is suitable for study and analysis to form a theoretical approach in moral arguments, revealing other types of rationality that go beyond simple dualism.
