The number of artists produced in France who have received an international certification is rising sharply, according to a ranking unveiled by the National Music Centre. It is not a French artist who occupies the top of the ranking, but unsurprisingly the Belgian singer Stromae with his title "L'enfer" downloaded more than 75 million times abroad.
The great novelty of the year 2022 is the fact that the French-speaking genre that is best exported is no longer electro, but rap with artists like Orelsan, Ninho or Gazo.
