Ouying bronze ware is China's characteristic gong and drum performance musical instruments. Production of Ouying copperware began in the Northern Song Dynasty, flourished in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties.

In July 2021, the Ouying bronze making technique was included in the fifth batch of representative items of intangible cultural heritage of Henan Province. Ouyang Tingru introduced that in all processes, slumping is a technical work, but also a strength work. Because the stove is small, the pliers must quickly move the red-hot copper lump to the forging table, burn it over and over again, beat it round by circle.
