Chiba Prefecture provides 1,1 yen per person to elementary and junior high school students. A total of 1,53 people are eligible for the benefit.

This is the first time that the benefit has been given to children in Japan. The benefit will help reduce the cost of living for families in the city. The cost of buying school supplies will also be reduced by 1,000 yen per child. The total cost of the benefit will not exceed 1,500 yen. The benefits will be given to all children in Chiba and the surrounding areas.
