Catalonia will still have to shelter for a long time under the umbrella of the State to finance the bulk of its debt. In 2026 the public coffers will still cover up to 80% of its liabilities.
The Catalonia that proclaimed itself sovereign will continue this year to trust the State with 95% of Its debt. At most, it aspires that the 5% covered by the market will grow to 20%.A reality that belies the fantasies of independence. The independence project never had more economic viability plan for its project than pure propaganda.
