Kayla Unbehaun, 15, disappeared in Illinois six years ago. She has resurfaced hundreds of miles away in North Carolina.
An employee of a shop recognized mother and daughter and remembered that the child was missing. The case had been discussed in the Netflix series "Unsolved Mysteries" In the meantime, the daughter is with her father – "in good shape and in a good mood," as the police chief of South Elgin is quoted as saying. The father has custody of the girl.
