Kore-eda's "Monster" is nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. The film is based on a book by the same name, written by Hirokazu Kore-eda.
The book is about a man who loses his wife and his son in a car crash. The movie is about the aftermath of the car crash that killed his son. It was released in Japan on May 17th, and is available on DVD and Blu-ray in Japan.
