Beijing Customs has intercepted fire salamanders, giant centipedes, poison dart frogs, and large beetles such as Sumatran giant flat stag beetles and Palawan giant stag beetles more than 10 cm long. Feng Bin, deputy director of Beijing Customs, called on the general public to consciously resist the illegally introduced "exotic pet" trade, and not to touch the high-voltage line of the law in pursuit of individuality.
