[HIGHLIGHTS] Before the G7 Hiroshima Summit, A-bomb survivors and others appeal for the abolition of nuclear weapons and opposition to war

The Japan Hidankyo held a meeting in Tokyo with war victims' groups. The meeting was held ahead of the G7 Summit in Hiroshima.

The groups discussed their own experiences of war and the use of nuclear weapons. The group also discussed the need to build bridges between Japan and other countries. The rally ended with a call to end the war by ending nuclear weapons in Japan and all over the world. It was the first of a series of meetings to discuss the future of the world's nuclear arsenals.
