[HIGHLIGHTS] Battle of Qadisiyah The day the Muslims fought the Persians at night and ended their presence in Iraq

The Battle of Qadisiyah took place on 13 Sha'ban of the 15th year of the Hijra. It was between the Muslims led by Saad bin Abi Waqqas and the Persians led by Rustam Farrokhzad, and ended with the death of Rustam and the victory of the Muslims.

The battle was preceded by repeated military clashes between Muslims and Persians on the Iraqi front, but it did not reach a decisive military clash, or what is currently called a total war.
