Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 33, announced his return to the Gabonese national team. The Chelsea striker has been absent since the last CAN in Cameroon at the beginning of 2022.

Coach Patrice Neveu did not hide his satisfaction to see the Chelsea striker return with the Panthers. "The President of the Republic managed to convince him and I have always said that the door remains open," says the coach of Gabon's national team in an interview with RFI.
