Then he himself was hit by the police. No police officers were injured. The fire in the apartment was extinguished and the man was taken to a hospital. The incident took place in Chemnitz, in the eastern part of the state of Saxony. There was an arrest warrant against him, which the officers wanted to execute. When accessed, the man is said to have pointed the weapon again at the police officers.
