Astronaut Satoshi Furukawa will head to the International Space Station on a private American spacecraft as early as this August. He will stay for a long time for about six months.

This is the fourth time in four consecutive years that Japan astronauts have boarded the Crew Dragon bound for the International space Station, following Soichi Noguchi, Akihiko Hoshide three years ago, and Koichi Wakata last year. The Russian spacecraft "Soyuz" made its first space flight, and this is the second time.
