A dead man has been found in a fire in a refugee shelter in Apolda. Now there is information about his identity: It is the eight-year-old son of a Ukrainian family.

The fire broke out early Sunday morning in the living area of the property. At least eleven people were injured and a body was found. The cause of the fire is assumed to be a technical defect. So far, the police have not found any evidence of an intentional act or third-party negligence.
