Almudena Ariza is back in her native Madrid. She is the host of a new TV show, La 1, about conflict in the world.

"I am very concerned about information fatigue as a result, above all, of the pandemic," she says. "It's a job that I would only do if I had absolute certainty that it will have a transformative effect," she adds. The show premieres on La 1 at 9pm ET on Wednesday, January 23.
