The whole world fits into John Ford's filmography. 'Strange way of life', the short film with which Almodóvar pays homage to the genre that invented the cinematographer, is perfectly aware of the previous paragraph. It tells the story of two unfinished and endless men who long ago loved each other and still love each other.
