Fossil remains of a new species of dinosaur have been found in Castellón, Spain. The new species is a bipedal and carnivorous spinosaur.

The Iberian Peninsula may have been a very diverse area for spinosaurs of medium or large body. The region of Els Ports (Castellón) is a "crucial" area for the study of the dinosaurs of the lower Cretaceous, says Andrés Santos-Cubedo, principal investigator of the work.
