A Japanese white rabbit, transported from a robot made in the United Arab Emirates, will try to land this Tuesday afternoon on the northern tip of the Moon. "White rabbit" is how Hakuto-R translates in Japanese, the name of the probe that, if successful, will star in the first commercial mission to space.

If there is no mishap, the mission is scheduled to be operational for about 12 days, when the batteries will likely freeze for the frigid lunar night. If the landing goes well, these two countries will also include their name in the reduced list of nations that have managed to step on the moon.
