Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah married Saudi architect Rajwa al-Saif on Thursday. This union could help bring the Hashemite monarchy and the Wahhabi kingdom closer together.
The bride was born and raised in a wealthy and influential family in Saudi Arabia, before studying in the United States as her husband. The wedding is also an opportunity to restore its image, after a deep crisis in April 2021, when a close adviser to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was arrested in Amman.
