A family of six swans had a pig when crossing a motorway near Erfurt. Two adult swans and four chicks crossed the highway in the morning.
A 38-year-old and a 55- year-old braked their cars in time and stopped in the right lane. Another motorist dodged the animals to the right and drove there against the stationary vehicle. Due to the impact, this was pushed onto the car of the 55, who was slightly injured. The swan family was captured by the fire brigade and released unharmed.
