Jacklyn Zeman, an actress who for 45 years played Bobbie Spencer on the series General Hospital, has died at the age of 70. The veteran actress' death was announced on Twitter by Frank Valentini, executive producer of the series.

Zeman was born in New Jersey on March 6, 1953. She studied dance at New York University, but opted for acting and in 1956 debuted in the series The Edge of Night and later in Only Live Once or Class Meeting. His big break came in 1977 with Hospital General, appearing in more than 800 episodes until 2023.
